mdi is a growing, family-owned sales organization seeking to add a new member to our Sales Team! We specialize in providing both domestic and international customers with industrial product solutions, including compressed air systems, fire fighting equipment, oil-less air compressors, vacuum pumps, electric and hydraulic winches, electric motors, hose reels, tube expanders and pneumatic tools. Our focus lies in high-quality, reliable products and excellent customer service.
Who are we looking for?
We are seeking an Inside Sales/Customer Service Representative to join our team! You will resolve customer questions and offer solutions to drive company revenue. Our ideal candidate will share our passion for customer service, as well as be highly motivated and function well in a fun, fast-paced, team environment. As our presence in the Latin American international markets is growing at a rapid pace, preference will be given to bilingual candidates that are fluent in Spanish.
What is the job?
The job duties include responding to phone and email quote requests, assisting customers via live chat, collaborating and building relationships with customers, and creating and submitting detailed quotes. Also looking for someone skilled with outbound follow-up calls to existing customer base.
What are the qualifications?
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows 7, Excel, Outlook, and Word
- Previous sales and price negotiation experience
- Superior customer service skills
- Confidence navigating websites and Internet browsers
- Ability to pass typing test (minimum 30 wpm)
- Extreme attention to detail
- Experience in telephone etiquette
- Comprehensive understanding of mathematics
- High school diploma/G.E.D required
- Secondary education preferred
- Ability to speak fluent Spanish preferred
- Experience in related industry preferred
